Artificial intelligence is the hot topic in every technology sector but turning AI into a productive benefit for your business demands careful consideration and in-depth assessment of the ways in which it can help you succeed. One essential tool that organisations are utilising to enable their explorations of AI is Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot for the Microsoft Power Platform. Copilot essentially builds on the principles of AI to achieve productivity enhancements and innovation acceleration by tapping into the wealth of data available in an organisation.
At its heart, AI’s purpose is to unlock the value embedded in the petabytes of data that every organisation has. This information is then transformed into actionable insights by using machine learning and deep learning. Machine learning utilises algorithms to enable machines to learn from data and provide accurate predictions while deep learning relies on artificial neural networks to analyse images, sound and music.
This is where Copilot comes in. The technology is based on integration into deep learning and machine learning and, thanks to that, Copilot provides a foundation for generative AI. Generative AI focuses on how AI can generate content using deep learning technology and can be used to tailor campaigns based on location or industry trends. Chatbots and assistants can be enhanced by generative AI enablers like Copilot to offer more contextual and relevant results.
Maximise Copilot Benefits
New Era Technology has been quick to recognise the applicability of Copilot capabilities from querying data to supporting application lifecycle management (ALM). The company has launched a series of webinars, called ‘The Master Copilot Series’ which aims to help enterprises maximise their use of AI to achieve increased productivity and innovation while maintaining robust security and compliance.
The first webinar in the Series was presented by New Era Technology’s Vinu Sharma, the Practice Director for Cloud and DevOps, and Ashish Gupta, the company’s Modern Workplace Director. The webinar introduced Microsoft Copilot and set out how it works with Microsoft Power Platform. In addition, the webinar shared best practices for Power Platform adoption and detailed how New Era Technology can help enterprises derive the greatest benefit from Copilot.
Enhance Efficiency with Copilot
This webinar explained that, when it comes to the Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot helps to accelerate application development by significantly reducing the need for coding. App requirements can be expressed in natural language with Copilot generating a large portion of the application or workflow. This saves time and enhances overall efficiency.
The second webinar was presented by Lorena Lane, a Senior User Experience Consultant at New Era Technology. The webinar, titled ‘Assessing Your Organisation’s Readiness for Copilot’ took a deep dive into the key dimensions that determine successful AI integration and revealed how to transition from AI excitement to implementation strategies.
Use AI to its Fullest Potential
Launching Copilot for Microsoft 365 is more than a tech upgrade, explains Lane in the webinar, it’s a strategic evolution and every element is critical. There are four phases that New Era Technology recommends for adopting Copilot: Envision, Align, Launch and Evolve. The goal in following this strategic framework is not just to implement a new tool, but to embark on a transformational journey that utilises AI to its fullest potential. This will help ensure that organisations are not only keeping pace with technological advancements but thriving because of them.
